City Gospel Mission
Breaking the cycle of poverty and despair is the mission of City Gospel Mission. Their focus has always been on relationships, and with support from hundreds of churches and countless volunteers, they help thousands of people and families each year in the Greater Cincinnati Area.
For close to 50 years, Mt Carmel has sent volunteers to City Gospel Mission located at 1805 Dalton Ave. in downtown Cincinnati. We help with the food service in the men’s facility by going there on the fourth week of every month. We make a home cooked meal and share God’s blessings with them usually serving about 120 people both inside and outside. Most of all, we share concern and respect for all they are doing to turn their lives around.
