Ushers
The ushers are the representatives of the church to the people who come to worship there. Visitors receive their first impression of the church from the ushers.
At Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, we engage people as ushers who have a heart for service. Our ushers display a welcoming smile, hearty greetings and dedication to the physical safety of all who attend worship services.
At the designated time during the worship portion of the service, ushers come forward to lead an offertory prayer before moving through the sanctuary to receive tithes and offerings.
